GACC Announcement on Adjustments to the Declaration Requirements for the Declaration Form for Imported Goods

Announcement [2023] No.14 of the General Administration of Customs of China ("GACC")

According to the relevant deployments of the joint prevention and control mechanism under the State Council to cope with COVID-19, the GACC has decided to adjust the requirements for completion of the relevant items in the Declaration Form for Imported Goods of the Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Filing List of Imported Goods of the Customs of the People's Republic of China as follows:

I   . Cancelling declaration items for "preventive disinfection carried out".

II   . Where the "date of departure" of the goods actually imported involves the prevention and control of COVID-19, the "date of departure" is no longer required; in the case of other provisions, such provisions shall prevail.

This Announcement shall come into force on March 1, 2023, repealing simultaneously the GACC Announcement [2022] No.88.
